Valid Iowa teachng license with Endorsement for 7-12 Home Economics or Family Consumer Science/Life Management
Successful experience as a senior high teacher or student teacher. Ability to demonstrate effective use of research-based instructional strategies. Well organized. Effective communicator with students, parents, and staff members. Vocational orientation; sees family and consumer science from perspective of student interest and career planning.
