Job Description:
The BCSD has an opening for a Title I Reading/Math teacher at Grimes Elementary School. Reading Endorsement required. Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain State of Iowa certification.
The BCSD is a culturally diverse district with 4200 students located in southeast Iowa on the scenic bluffs on the Mississippi River. Partnered with a very supportive parent and business community, the district is able to provide smaller class sizes with an array of support services in a progressive educational system. The District has a 16% minority student population, as well as a pupil/teacher ratio of 16:1.
The community of Burlington offers a variety of recreational activities and a family oriented atmosphere. The following items are required for consideration: letter of interest,copies of license/certification, copies of transcripts and three letters of reference.
Salary will be determined by level of experience, with a full range of benefits.
